Sailing Summer Camp Instructor

Pay – Up to $25.00 Per Hour
Job Description
- Location: Work in the beautiful, undeveloped setting of Jordan Lake near Raleigh, N.C.
- Duration: We run eight week-long sessions of Sailing Summer Camp, starting June 15 and concluding August 14.
- Students: You will be teaching children ages 9 to 16, skill levels from beginner through racing, using our fleets of Optis and 420s.
- Teamwork: You’ll work closely with the lead instructor and a team of 6 to 8 other energetic young instructors.
Camp Size: Session sizes can be as large as 18 Opti sailors and 20 420 sailors, so your teaching and organizational skills will shine!

- Pay: Competitive wages of up to $23 per hour, based on experience

Key Requirements
We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
- ✅ US Sailing Level 1 certification (Required).
- ✅ Proven experience teaching youth sailing.
- ✅ High school or college racing experience.
- ✅ A friendly, patient, and energetic personality with excellent communication skills.
A plus: Small powerboat handling experience is a great advantage, but we will provide training if needed!
